PRO DERMAL PLANNING, ADORE BROWS & SKIN
It’s been a while since I’ve had a facial done and there is no one else I would go to for this other than the beautiful Emina, owner of Adore Brows and Skin.
Those who have been connected to me by means of Facebook, Instagram & Snapchat would know that this is the only place I would trust to do my brows, collagen induction/LED opera mask therapy, pro dermal planning facials and supply me with a skincare range I can trust (I was using O Cosmedics, now using DMK).
On my visit I decided to have a skin treatment called ” Pumpkin Enzyme & Fruit Acid Peel”, followed by a soothing Alginate peel off mask and finished off with ten minutes under a medical grade LED red light.
Emina decided that this would be the best treatment for me and I agreed because even though I hate to admit it, I do have sun damaged skin.
The Pumpkin Enzyme & Fruit Acid Peel was a perfect option for me as it targets sun damage and assists with age correction. This treatment consists of pumpkin extract and natural fruit acids married together with the healing and moisturising benefits of jojoba esters.
The peel effectively eliminates redundant cells therefore accelerating the skin’s cellular renewal to reveal fresher, smoother skin whilst restoring natural barrier function and increasing hydration.
After the mask has been applied you’ll feel a slight tingling sensation - this was very mild and not an issue at all for me.
Once the fruit acid peel has been completed, a soothing Alginate Mask will be applied - which in my opinion is one of the best feelings in the world and is the icing on the treatment cake.
Besides looking cool, each Alginate Mask is used to instantly cool and refresh, soothe and comfort, tighten enlarged pores, improve blood circulation, increase oxygen supply, increase lymph flow to improve skin health, complexion and radiance.
After the Alginate Mask has been removed you will spend 10 minutes under the medical grade LED red light. This is a photo dynamic LED system which has many benefits for the skin. It assists to speed up the healing process, reduce inflammation, stimulate fibroblasts and collagen production by as much as 200% within just 24 hours of treatment.
After that entire experience I felt incredible. My skin was silky smooth and I was completely satisfied by what these three treatments had done.
