PRIVATE DINING SEA LIFE, SYDNEY AQUARIUM
The struggle is real when you’re a hopeless romantic living in the digital age. But never fear there IS hope, I am living proof of this.
Normally I wouldn't share things about my personal life on Social Media, but in this instance I really want to share this experience with you in the hope you might also be able to share this with someone special.
On Sunday evening my special someone and I, went on an after-hours exclusive self-guided Aquarium tour which concluded with a private candlelit dinner set for two, in front of one of the largest underwater panels in the Aquarium. This was the pinnacle of dates. I have never in my life experienced anything like this.
The self-guided tour was great! No busy crowds or trying to push your way to the front. We had time to actually enjoy what we were looking at and we were able to stroll through all of the tunnels at our own pace without a single person in sight but each other.
There was something magical about this! I am a huge Disney fan and it just made me think of the Little Mermaid. Most of us women are like that though right? Refer back to Disney movies – okay maybe that’s just me.
The tunnel we dined in was a large space with a table setting that would blow anyone’s mind. Candles were lined up along the bottom of the entire glass panel and music was playing softly in the background – I felt like we were starring in our own movie.
We started off with a cheese platter which we shared whilst enjoying a delicious bottle of Champagne. We were presented with an impressive menu, something you would expect to come from a high end restaurant.
We enjoyed a two course meal whilst chatting away and absorbing the stunning view that was in front, below and above us.
In my almost 30 years of existence I have not seen or experienced anything like this – we both went home on an absolute high!
If you’re reading this and want to do this for one of your loved ones, I’ve done some research for you.
